McGregor denies allegations of rape at NBA Finals game

June 15, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

TMZ first reported that Conor McGregor is being accused of raping a woman at the NBA Finals Game 4 in Miami.

Demand letters from an attorney representing the accuser have been sent to McGregor, the Miami Heat and the NBA.  The incident occurred at the Kaseya Center in Florida where McGregor attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals.  McGregor was part of the in-game entertainment as he participated in a skit with the Miami Heat mascot.

According to the letters, the woman was forced into a bathroom at the games by security where McGregor was waiting with security.  The woman, according to her account, claims that McGregor attempted to have her perform oral sex on him.  He then grabbed the woman, pinned her against the wall and allegedly tried to sodomize her.  She was able to elbow McGregor repeatedly and was able to get away.

The woman told the police and was encouraged to get legal representation.  The demand letters claim to not want a lawsuit but a settlement.

McGregor denies the allegations.

Payout Perspective:

With the Miami Heat and NBA involved, one has to believe that the truth of the matter will come out.  This is yet another bad mark for McGregor.  Even if he is vindicated of the accusations, he is unable to keep himself out of trouble before getting back into the Octagon.  With TUF 31 ongoing on ESPN and a return scheduled (we think), this issue could yet again delay McGregor’s return.

@Josh_HokitUFC You’re gonna cry you were cancelled by the left for “free speech”. And then you’ll post 200 times a day on Twitter until fox and friends invites you on to “tell your story”. And after that you’ll run for congress and your campaign will be centered on white grievance.

This is

Real question. Was this announced or is there an intern somewhere that is taking note of ever fighter’s follow and unfollow?

"Ian Garry is lying about me... I'm not sure why he made up a lie [about me filming him without permission]."
