Diaz-Paul ticket sales going well

May 15, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Sports Business Journal reports “brisk” sales for August’s fight between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul.  Adam Stern reports that “more than 60 percent” of the tickets on sale have been purchased.

Stern notes that “a significant portion of the lower parts of the arena already sold.”  Much of the premium viewing seats on the floor and lower bowl have been sold while VIP floor seats are still available with some going for as much as $3,506.  Per the report lower bowl seats were going for $131.50 and upper bowl seats were going for as low as $61.50.

The ticket sales are priced higher than some of Paul’s most recent events which equates to a bigger gate.  Obviously Diaz’s popularity and reputation have aided in the live gate.

The report is attributed to the first press conference last week which was done to bolster ticket sales.  The fight prices at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas are reasonably priced to get into this event so one would expect a sellout by the time their next press conference is complete.
