UFC on ABC 4 attendance, gate and bonuses

May 14, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Charlotte, North Carolina was the location for an afternoon UFC card on Saturday. It saw 5 fighters receive bonuses for their first-round stoppages.

There were 5 fight night bonuses on Saturday which included Matt Brown for his KO of Court McGee. In addition, Carlos Ulberg KO of Ihor Potieria, Ian Machado Garry’s TKO of Daniel Rodriguezm, Bryan Battle’s KO of Gabe Green and headliner Jailton Almeida’s submission of Jairzinho Rozenstruik. White did not indicate at first at the post-fight presser that Battle or Alex Morono were the bonus recipients but said that they would be taken care of which meant extra money in addition to their fight purse.

The event was a success with a sellout of 18,712 for a gate of $2.09 million. Dana White stated at the post-fight press conference that it was the “highest attended Fight Night” event in U.S. History.

Dana White is such a MAGA stooge. He runs around every podcast talking about how he’s “not political” and how Donald Trump is “just his friend,” all while asking that same friend to help him write off more gambling losses and throwing him a UFC fight in front of the White House

New: UFC President Dana White has sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking him to help reverse the 90 percent limit on gambling loss deductions for US taxpayers that became law last year.

The issue has been a concern for both bettors and the gambling industry itself.
