UFC Fight Night 223 draws 536K, prelims 403K

UFC Fight Night 223 on ESPN 2 Saturday night drew 536,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The Prelims drew 403,000 viewers prior to the main card.

On a day when the NBA and NHL Playoffs as well as the third day of the NFL draft dominated, the UFC card which did not have any real star appeal still drew 10th overall in cable for the main card and 17th for the prelims.

The main card drew 0.24 in the A18-49 demo, 0.15 F18-49, 0.34 M18-49, 0.22 18-34, 0.09 F12-34, 0.27 M12-34, 0.27 25-54 and 0.15 in over 50.  The prelims drew 0.16 18-49, 0.08 F18-49, 0.25 M18-49, 0.15 1834, 0.06 F12-34, 0.18 M12-34, 0.17 25-54 and 0.15 in the over 50 category.

The featured event saw Song Yadong defeat Ricky Simon with a 5th round stoppage.  The feature fight of the prelims saw Martin Buday defeat Jake Collier by unanimous decision.
