UFC Fight Night 222 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. All 4 Performance Bonuses were first round stoppages.
The Performance Bonuses went to Montel Jackson who scored a KO over Rani Yahya in the very first round. It was the third time Jackson stopped an opponent in the first round in his UFC career but the very first $50K bonus. Christos Giagos scored a KO in the first round over Ricky Glenn. It was Giagos’ second bonus from the UFC.
Bruno Silva picked up his third UFC bonus of his career with a first round stoppage over Brad Tavares.
Finally, feature fighter Sergei Pavlovich thrust himself into the heavyweight title picture as it was the Russian’s sixth stoppage of his career and his fourth UFC $50K bonus.
