The Professional Fighters League Season 5 episode 2 on Friday drew 180,000 on ESPN per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily. The telecast drew 74,000 in the A18-49 demo.
The PFL season began for Heavyweights and Women’s Featherweights. Last year’s women’s Featherweight champion began her quest to make it a repeat with a win against former four-time Bellator champion Julia Budd. Also, 2021 PFL World Champ Bruno Cappelozza hopes to return to New York this year and started it off right with a first round TKO of Matheus Scheffel.
The ratings are less than stellar and are way off from the season debut on April 1 which registered 271,000 viewers.
