The Sports Business Journal reports that the UFC and TikTok have renewed and expanded their partnership which first began in 2021. The UFC followers on social media have grown to 23 million TikTok followers.
The news comes the same day that the UFC released the information that UFC 285 is the all-time highest performing event in UFC social media history with 1.62M mentions from Monday-Monday.
No terms of the deal were this disclosed but the hope is that the continued exposure on TikTok will help grow the brand and continue the fandom for hard cores. It would appear that the UFC is focusing on growing its audience through social media and with the amount of followers it retains on social media channels like TikTok, pitch advertisers to sell its products through its channels.
