UFC Fight Night 219 took place Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas and the night belonged to the rising women’s flyweight Erin Blanchfield.
Blanchfield solidified her status as a title contender with a second round submission of former flyweight champion Jessica Andrade. She earned one of the $50K bonuses for the night. The other Performance Bonus went to Mayra Bueno Silva who defeated Lina Lansberg via submission in the second round.
Fight of the Night went to Nadim Sadykhov and Evan Elder. Both fighters earned $50K as Sadykhov prevailed after doctor stoppage in round 3 of their fight.
