AEW Dynamite returned to the number 1 spot in cable on Wednesday night posting the best ratings of 2022 with 1.175 million viewers.

Tony Khan tweeted the results and thanked the viewers.

Thanks to YOU, #AEWDynamite had our biggest audience of the year last night, 1.175 million!
+ we made it 16 straight Wednesdays in cable’s top 2 shows in 18-49 demo@AEWonTV #1 show on cable last night!

See you TOMORROW for a huge #AEWRampage on TNT, last stop before GRAND SLAM

— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) September 15, 2022

The ratings drew 0.39 in the A18-49 demo, 0.23 in F18-49, 0.55 M18-49, 0.30 A18-34, 0.18 F12-34, 0.31 M12-34, 0.50 A25-54, 0.50 in over 50.

Payout Perspective:

Notably it was the same week that NXT saw its highest ratings for 2022 on Tuesday.  The ratings almost mirror AEW’s biggest competition on Wednesdays, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo.  The reality show drew 1.173 overall viewers, just 2,000 less than AEW.  The ratings are huge and reflect a renewed interest in the show despite backstage issues including the suspension of several of its top stars. .

The proliferation of gambling makes "shit happens" no longer an acceptable excuse. There should be a vehicle for fixing grossly unfair outcomes like the one that happened to Western Michigan tonight.

We are now in the part of College Football where we are starting to do do-overs so the right team can win

Terry McAulay: "The ball isn't even close to touching a player when it goes to zero... Their Hawk-Eye system apparently had a different sync... I don't see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct... The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero..."

Excellent drive from Bryce Underwood and Michigan. So much different from much of last year.

Kyle Whittingham is such a great football coach! Going to be fun to watch the progression of this team.
