NXT draws highest ratings of year on 2.0 anniversary

September 15, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

NXT on the USA Network had the highest rating of 2022 this past Tuesday per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  On the anniversary of its 2.0 brand, it drew 728,000 viewers.

The telecast finished 14th overall in cable ratings.   It drew 0.15 in the A18-49 demo, 0.07 in F18-49, 0.23 M18-49, 0.10 in A18-34, 0.05 F12-34, 0.11 M12-34, 0.20 A25-54, 0.42 in over 50.

The ratings bested the last week’s 684,000 viewers and reflects a general trend of more eyes on the WWE product.  NXT unveiled a ‘new’ logo as it went back to the black and gold version. Whether it is the revamp by Triple H to the WWE product or the backstage drama at AEW that is moving the dial, the WWE/NXT product is on a general trajectory up going forward.
