July 20, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC on ABC drew 951,000 viewers this past Saturday afternoon per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The prelims on ESPN drew 353,000 viewers.

The 3rd show on ABC drew 289,00 viewers in the A18-49 demo and a household rating of 0.58.

The prelims were 3rd overall in cable ratings for Saturday with 169,000 viewers/0.13 in the A18-49 demo.  Based on the numbers, it did not look like a very big day for viewing in cable on Saturday.

The prelims drew 0.08 in F18-49, 0.18M18-49, 0.09 A18-34, 0.05 F12-34, 0.10 M12-34, 0.15 A25-54, 0.14 in the over 50.

The ABC telecast featured Brian Ortega and Yair Rodriguez.  The event took place on Saturday afternoon in Long Island, New York.

Payout Perspective:

The ABC showing is in line with the other two UFC on ABC shows and despite the overall low number, the prelims did well based upon the viewership watching at the time.  Saturday afternoon is a hard time, especially in the summer, for the UFC.
