PFL 5 draws 230K on ESPN Friday

PFL 5 featuring featherweights and heavyweights on ESPN drew 230,000 viewers on Friday night per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast drew a 0.04 in the A18-49 demo and was 109th overall in cable ratings Friday night.

The event took place at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.  The telecast featured heavyweights Bruno Cappelozza and Matheus Scheffel in the feature.  Scheffel defeated Cappelozza via unanimous decision. 

Also of note, Steven Ray upset former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis via body triangle in the second round.  Chris Wade also went to 2-0 for the season with at TKO of Kyle Bochniak in the first round. 

Its worthy to note that Bellator on Showtime Friday night did not register within the top 150 of cable for Friday night.
