UFC 274 bonuses

May 8, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 274 took place last night at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The event was supposed to feature two title fights, but one was called off due to the champ missing weight and the other was not that entertaining.

Michael Chandler probably the highlight ending of the night with a front kick that knocked out Tony Ferguson in the second round of their lightweight matchup. Then, Chandler gave one of the best promos in lightweight history. Chandler called out for the next shot at the UFC lightweight title and in the alternative wants Conor McGregor. For his efforts, he earned a $50K bonus.

Also receiving a Performance Bonus was Andre Fiahlo as the welterweight earned a first round KO over Cameron VanCamp. The Fight of the Night went to Brandon Royval and Matt Schnell which went to Royval in the very first round via submission. Still, it was good enough for Fight of the Night.

The Crypto.com bonuses went to Rose Namajunas, Michael Chandler and Charles Oliviera. The new feature allows fans to vote on the most deserving fighters of the night and Crypto.com awards them bonuses of $30K, $20K and $10K in bitcoin to the athletes. Despite what many thought was a lackluster fight, Namajunas earned the first prize.
