UFC on ESPN 35 bonuses

May 1, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN 35 took place on Saturday night at the UFC Apex.  Co-headliner Marlon Vera earned $100,000 for his victory over Rob Font for Fight of the Night due to Font’s weight miss.

Vera earned a unanimous decision victory over Font in the main event.  Not only did Font lose the fight, missing weight cost him 20 percent of his fight purse and the $50,000 bonus for a Fight of the Night.

The two Performance Bonuses went to Francisco Figueiredo and Joanderson Brito.  Figueiredo won in the first round with a kneebar submission over Daniel da Silva in a battle of flyweights.  Brito stopped Andre Fili in just 41 seconds with a flurry of punches to end the fight before it really event started.
