Bellator 277 draws ratings-high of 214K on Showtime

April 18, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Bellator 277 took place on Friday night from San Jose, California and aired on Showtime.  The telecast topped out at 214,000 viewers for the main event.

The 3-hour telecast viewership was at its highest at the 11:55pm ET time frame which was at the time of the main event featuring AJ McKee and Patricio Friere.

The rest of the telecast that made the top 150 are as follows:

10:21pm  129K (0.04 A18-49) End of Vassell-Johnson

10:33pm  144K (0.04)  Start of Pico-Edwards

10:50pm 155K  (0.05) End of Pico-Edwards

11:11pm 166K (0.05)  Start of Anderson-Nemkov fight

11:36pm  167K  (0.04)

11:55pm  214K  (0.05) Start of McKee-Pitbull

Payout Perspective:

Ratings on Bellator-Showtime events are usually do not produce big ratings especially since these numbers are for linear television.  Yet, one would have hoped for a little more considering AJ McKee and Pitbull were fighting.
