UFC 272 bonuses

March 6, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 272 took place on Saturday night in Las Vegas with one very inspirational bonus winner.

Ukranian Maryna Moroz scored a Performance of the Night with her second round submission of Mariya Agapova.  Moroz was greeted with a huge ovation from those in attendance due to the conflict occurring in her country.

Kevin Holland overcame a tough first round to defeat Alex Oliveira.  Holland knocked The Cowboy to the ground and then followed it up with punches to end the night.  It was the first fight at welterweight for Holland.

The Fight of the Night went to Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal.  Covington dominated round 1 while round 2 was much closer.  After that, it was all Covington who used his wrestling and ground and pound to physically dominated Jorge.
