Makhachev partners with Crypto company Saitama

February 15, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC lightweight Islam Makhachev is teaming up with cryptocurrency company Saitama.  Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Makhachev is currently on a 9 fight win streak in the UFC. He faces Beneil Dariush later this month at UFC Fight Night 202.

Saitama offers uses the chance to open up a digital wallet where they can buy, sell or swap cryptocurrency. They offer a Saitama digital token on the Ethereum blockchain.

The UFC has its own deal with Crypto.com as its official sponsors.

This past January, Francis Ngannou had a digital currency deal with CashApp in which he would convert his purse to bitcoin.

Payout Perspective:

Digital currency is a big thing now although there is uncertainty with its volatility as the likes of bitcoin is not regulated making the volatility of the rise and fall of the worth tenuous.  Yet, the deal is good for Makhachev and Saitama which will get in front of a young, early adapting demo.
