The first UFC PPV event of the year took place on Saturday night at The Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The company doled out $50K bonuses to new champ Deiveson Figueriredo and Brandon Moreno for another Fight of the Night honor.
Figueriredo outlasted Morena in a close, back and forth affair. The Brazilian ended up on top with a unanimous decision victory.
Performance Bonuses for the night went to Vanessa Demopoulos for her first round submission over Silvana Gomez Juarez. Said Nurmagomedov needed less than a minute to submit Cody Stamann via guillotine choke.
