WWE announces partnership for NFT collectibles marketplace

October 28, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The WWE announced on Wednesday that it was launching an NFT Marketplace for Digital WWE Collectibles.

According to the press release WWE and Blockchain Creative Labs will have an exclusive multi-year agreement to launch an NFT marketplace for licensed digital WWE tokens and collectibles.  The marketplace will allow for collectors to buy, sell and trade on the platform.

WWE will create authentic NFTs that will include its most iconic moments, past and present WWE Superstars and premier events, such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam.  The blockchain technology will be interoperable across Ethereum and other blockchains.  The marketplace’s name and launch date will be announced in the coming weeks per the release.

Payout Perspective:

The announcement comes a day after the company announced it had forged a trading card deal with Panini as it left long-time partner Topps.  The news of a new NFT marketplace reflects a strategy that will bulk-up its merchandise/collectibles area.  The space is growing and the company is attempting to be ahead of the curve.

ccasionally, attorneys and their clients have disputes arising from their relationship.  If this happens between Cruz Law and Client, both parties agree that the dispute will not be resolved by lawsuit.  Instead, if we are unable to work out the dispute among ourselves, then, upon the request of any party, it will be resolved by either mediation or arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association or another agreed upon third-party dispute resolution service.  If mediation or arbitration is decided, the parties will agree on a mediator/arbitrator with business offices in Seattle, Washington.

The parties agree that any dispute that may arise will be governed by the laws of the state of Washington in the county of King.
