October 3, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Dustin Poirier will be challenging Charles Oliveira for the UFC lightweight title on December 11th as part of UFC 269.   No official word on the location although Las Vegas is the likely venue.

It will be the first title defense for Oliveira who earned the title by defeating Michael Chandler in May at UFC 262.

Poirier made the referenced to the fight via social media.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered.⚔

In addition to Oliveira-Poirier, we will see two other title fights on what will be the year-end show for the promotion.  Amanda Nunes takes on Julianna Pena as Nunes defends her bantamweight title.  Also, we get the third fight for the flyweight title between Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo.
