AEW Rampage (09/03/21) draws 696K

September 7, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Rampage on TNT drew 696,000 viewers via Nielsen per ShowBuzz Daily.  The shoulder programming which followed the live event drew another 361,000 viewers.

The last show prior to the company’s All Out PPV this past Sunday was 4th overall in cable television on Friday coming in after College Football on ESPN.

Via All Elite Wrestling

Rampage drew 0.30 in A18-49, 0.20 in F18-49, 0.41 in M18-49, 0.19 in A18-34, 0.13 in F12-34, 0.16 in M12-34, 0.34 in A25-54 and 0.24 in over 50.

The AEW special to hype the All Out PPV which aired immediately after Rampage drew 361,000 viewers. AEW has aired shoulder programming to complement its quarterly PPVs.

Payout Perspective:

Although Rampage was down overall in comparison to last week, the shoulder programming did well as it was basically a rehash of story lines to make people interested in the PPV.  With the return of CM Punk, 361,000 viewers on a Friday night seems like a really good number.
