UFC Fight Night 191 took place Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. Paddy Pimblett’s debut with the promotion earned him a $50K bonus.
Pimblett earned a first round stoppage as he used a flurry of punches to end the night for Luigi Vendramini.
The other Performance of the Night went to Tom Aspinall who also earned a first round KO over his opponent Serghi Spivac.
The Fight of the Night went to Molly McCann and Ji Yeon Kim. The women’s flyweight bout saw a back and forth fight between the two. However, McCann won most of the battles between the two and came away with a unanimous decision win.
Payout Perspective:
The story of Saturday’s event was the former Cage Warriors star Pimblett who exhibited the cockiness and showmanship of a young Conor McGregor. While he may not be ready for the spotlight yet, he’s a definite star in the making.
