UFC on Vegas 30 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. As part of the TUF 29 finals, a pair of finalists received undisclosed bonuses in addition to those regular bonuses.
Pat Sabatini, Abdul Razak Alhassan, Gerald Meerschaert and Giga Chikadze. As part of the feature bout, Chikadze stopped Edson Barboza. Sabatini defeated Jamall Emmers in the first round of their fight via heel hook. Alhassan landed a highlight reel headkick KO of Alessio Di Chirico to end the prelims for the night. Meerschaert defeated Makhmud Muradov in the second round via RNC submission.
Ricky Turcios defeated Brady Hiestand to become the Bantamweight TUF for this past season. White noted that both would receive bonuses for their action-packed fight.
