UFC Vegas 34 draws 743K viewers

August 24, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC Vegas 34 on ESPN drew 743,000 per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The prelims drew 508,000 viewers which preceded the main card on ESPN2.

The main card drew 310,000 in the A18-49 demo and it drew a household rating of 0.45.  The prelims scored 5088,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo with 203,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

The first 6 cable telecasts on Saturday were related to the NFL with number 7 being the Little League World Series on ESPN.

The main card featured Kelvin Gastelum as he fell to Jarod Canonier in a battle of middleweights.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings for the UFC were down from the last Apex event the last weekend of June.  You can attribute that to NFL, Pacquiao and the lack of known fighters on the card.  It was still a good card to watch, but many casual viewers likely recorded the fight in favor of boxing or football.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
