The bonuses of the night went to Tia Tuivasa, Driscus Du Plessis and Sean O’Malley and Kris Moutinho pulled off the Fight of the Night. All received $75,000 bonus as Dana White indicated in the post-fight press conference that he got “a little fired up” at the fighter meeting.
Payout Perspective:
The event came through with the most fans and one of the biggest gates in Nevada history. White indicated he expects PPV buys in the US alone to hit between 1.7 to 1.8 million buys. This brings up the question of the viability of Conor McGregor’s drawing power after this event. McGregor’s injury plus his losing streak might minimize his draw to casual fans despite still having a dedicated fan base.
