AEW Dynamite on TNT fell in viewership this week due in part to the Presidential Address to Congress.  It drew 889,000 viewers Wednesday and placed 10th overall in cable ratings.

AEW drew 0.33 in the A18-49 demo per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  It also drew 0.23 in F18-49, 0.43 in M18-49, 0.16 in A18-34, 0.13 in F12-34, 0.13 in M12-34, 0.38 in A25-54 and 0.37 in over 50.

The telecast was the first time since running unopposed on Wednesday to NXT in which the viewership dipped.

AEW Ratings after NXT move

4/28/21:  889K viewers

4/21/21: 1.104M viewers

4/14/21:  1.219M viewers

Payout Perspective:

The ratings went down but you could chalk this up to the Presidential Address.  Or, can you? The A18-49 demo rating for the Presidential Address ranged from 0.38 to 0.58.  The AEW rating was slightly off at 0.33.  Non-presidential telecasts,, MTV’s Challenge show and an NBA regular season game on ESPN outrated AEW on Wednesday night.
