AEW draws 1.104M viewers

April 22, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Dynamite drew 1.104 million viewers on TNT Wednesday night making it second in cable for the night.  The telecast drew 0.37 in the A18-49 demo.

It was the second straight week that AEW drew over 1 million viewers running unopposed to another pro wrestling show with NXT on USA moving to Tuesdays.

The telecast was second in cable only to MTV’s Challenge show which was the only show that drew more in the A18-49 demo with 0.58.

AEW drew 0.37 in A18-49, 0.25 in F18-49, 0.50 in M18-49, 0.17 in A18-34, 0.14 in F12-34, 0.15 in M12-34, 0.45 in A25-54 and 0.48 in over 50.

Payout Perspective:

Having no competition on Wednesdays is helping AEW as it is pulling great ratings.  Unfortunately, its audience is leaving after the telecast ends as One on TNT has not benefitted from its lead-in.  The ratings reflect strength in the young demo while a rise in the over 50 category.
