Jason Jackson predicts KO of Gracie at Bellator 255

April 1, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

As Jason Jackson prepares for his fight for Nieman Gracie on Friday night, the 10-2 ‘Ass-Kicking Machine’ seems a little confused by his #6 welterweight ranking.  But with a win against Gracie there will be no question.

“I have a big opportunity [against Gracie],” said the Sanford MMA product,  “and once I beat him there’s no question.”  Jackson believes that he should receive a title shot if he were to prevail on Friday.

Coming off a win over former UFC champ Benson Henderson, Jackson is flying high and hopes to keep his momentum going against Gracie.  He notes that he “wants to put a Gracie under my name” adding to a resume that continues to grow.

Despite being from the famed Gracie family, Jackson has no qualms about the grappling.  “I see his grappling, the same way his striking matches up with mine.” Jackson thinks that he will knock Gracie out.

Jackson expressed that he’s had the best fight camp thus far and has no worries about the upcoming fight.  He noted that last year doing the quarantine it was hard to get workout and consistent workouts.  Jackson notes that working with kickboxer Henry Hooft has completed him as a well-rounded fighter.

“The Ass-Kicking Machine,” was taken in reference from Jackson’s interest in professional wrestling.  He notes that he is a big fan of the Undertaker.  He also stated that he’d love to attend Wrestlemania next week in Tampa if he could get tickets.

Jackson faces Nieman Gracie in the co-main event of the evening Friday for Bellator 255 on Showtime.
