Court in Zuffa Antitrust Lawsuit announce another status conference

March 21, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

On Friday, a minute order was issued by the court in the Zuffa Antitrust Lawsuit.  Judge Richard Boulware stated that the parties shall have another status conference to review documents to be unsealed in connection with the Class Certification Order, to be issued prior to the hearing.

Via Court Minute Order:

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Status Conference Hearing is set for April 6, 2021 at 9:00 AM by videoconference to review documents to be unsealed in connection with the Class Certification Order, to be issued prior to the status conference hearing.

The news sets some timeline from the last time the Court held a status conference last December and another minute order the first week of January which notified the public that they would be unsealing documents previously under seal.

The question of what documents will be unsealed versus what will be redacted should be a question that will come up during the hearing.  Moreover, the news that the judicial opinion will be issued prior to the hearing may have some bearing on what may be unsealed by the Court and what the parties may fight to remain under seal.

Didn't know this was a thing but delighted it is.

Conor McGregor is a horrible, despicable rapist wanker and he should be the shame of Ireland. Well done The Burren

Maybe they should just call it the Ariel Helwani award and give it to other MMA journalists?
