UFC Vegas 21 took place Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. Despite a no-contest in the main event, the bonus winners put on some great performances.
$50K went to Ryan Spann, Dan Ige, Davey Grant and Jason Witt for Performances of the Night. Spann earned a stoppage of Misha Cirkunov in the first round. Similarly, Dan Ige lived up to his nickname of $50K with a first-round stoppage 22 second in as he stopped Gavin Tucker. Davey Grant earned his bonus with a stoppage of Jonathan Martinez in the second round of their bantamweight tilt. Finally, the fastest KO of the night went to Matthew Semelsberger who just needed 16 seconds to end Jason Witt’s night.
Payout Perspective:
Unfortunately, the main event ended in a no-contest with an accidental eye poke to Belal Muhammad thus thwarting the return of Leon Edwards. Despite this, there were several great performances on the card this night.
