UFC 259 bonuses

March 7, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 259 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. The $50K bonuses went to athletes on the prelims.

The Fight of the Night went to Kennedy Nzechukwu and Carlos Ulberg.  A heavy underdog, Nzechukwu earned a 2nd round stoppage for the victory.

Uros Medic and Kai Kara-France earned the Performance Bonuses with Medic outclassing Aalon Cruz to remain undefeated.  Kai Kara-France earned the other Performance Bonus with a first round KO of Rogerio Bontorin.

Payout Perspective:

Certainly Amanda Nunes’ domination of Megan Anderson could have earned her another bonus, but no problems here with the choices.
