UFC Bantamweight out of UFC Fight Night 187 due to COVID-19

February 22, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Bantamweight Raoni Barcelos is the latest UFC athlete to be forced out of a fight due to testing positive for COVID-19.  The Brazilian announced that he is out of his fight this Saturday at UFC Fight Night 187 against Marcelo Rojo.

Undefeated in the UFC, Barcelos (16-1, 5-0) was set to face Raphael Assuncao on Saturday but that was scrapped when he tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Rojo remains on the card at this point and the UFC will see about finding him an opponent.

UFC Fight Night 186 takes place at the UFC Apex this Saturday.  Currently, there are 13 fights scheduled for this Saturday.
