UFC names Panini America as exclusive trading card partner

January 27, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

On Tuesday the UFC named Panini America as the exclusive collectible global trading card partner.  The muli-year agreement is set to begin with the release of UFC Prizm.

During the pandemic, the collectibles market has seen a renaissance in popularity.  Previously, the UFC had a trading card deal with Topps.

The deal begins in April with the company’s popular Prizm brand to kick off the new deal.  It also plans to release sets for its Select (July), Chronicles (September) and Immaculate (December) brands.

The deal means that Panini Italian-based company will have exclusive deals with the NFL, NBA and NASCAR.

The company will have a “UFC’s biggest moments” for its direct-to-consumer Panini Instant platform.

Payout Perspective:

No financial details on the deal but the UFC takes advantage of the company’s market share in the trading card market in addition to its popular brands.  Panini closes in on a market share with only major league baseball, MLS and NHL as three leagues it does not have an exclusive deal.

Dana White is such a MAGA stooge. He runs around every podcast talking about how he’s “not political” and how Donald Trump is “just his friend,” all while asking that same friend to help him write off more gambling losses and throwing him a UFC fight in front of the White House

New: UFC President Dana White has sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking him to help reverse the 90 percent limit on gambling loss deductions for US taxpayers that became law last year.

The issue has been a concern for both bettors and the gambling industry itself.

Howard Schultz sold out Seattle because he's a greedy prick who couldn't care less about the city that helped make him wealthy.

Anything he has to say about city leadership or policy is irrelevant and probably horseshit based on who he is as a person.
