UFC Fight Island 8 took place on Wednesday morning in the United States. The prelims featured a Fight of the Night.
Mike Davis and Mason Jones put on an action-packed fight which earned each $50K. Davis won via split decision. Also earning $50K bonuses was the cousin of Khabib Nurmogomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov as he defeated Sergey Morozov via submission in the second round. Also, earning the $50K was Warlley Alvez who was impressive and the only main card bonus winner as he used a liverkick to end the night for top prospect Mounir Lazzez.
The main event saw Michael Chiesa look impressive in a dominating win over Neil Magny.
Payout Perspective:
There were other notable bonus winner contenders including Ike Villanueva who scored a main card KO of Vinicius Moreira in the second round. Also, Omar Akhmedov submitted Tom Breese in round 2 on the main card.
