AEW 775K, NXT 698K

December 25, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Dynamite drew 775,000 viewers on Wednesday night before Christmas.  NXT on the USA Network drew 698,000 viewers opposite AEW on TNT.

AEW was 5th overall in the cable ratings Wednesday night drawing 0.32 in the A18-49 demo, 0.44 in M18-49, 0.23 in A18-34, 0.42 in A25-54 and 0.28 in over 50.

NXT was 40th overall with 0.19 in the A18-49 demo, 0.23 in M18-49, 0.09 in A18-34, 0.22 in A25-54 and 0.36 in the over 50 category.

Payout Perspective:

As with the custom for both programs, NXT does well with the over 50 category and AEW draws strong in the younger demo.  However, the two programs drew closer this week with both telecasts slightly dropping in overall viewers this week.  AEW did air after the NBA on TNT with a slight overrun of a very exciting Bucks-Celtics game.  That game drew 2 million viewers but did not have a very strong bump for AEW as viewers soon left TNT to go elsewhere.

Dana White is such a MAGA stooge. He runs around every podcast talking about how he’s “not political” and how Donald Trump is “just his friend,” all while asking that same friend to help him write off more gambling losses and throwing him a UFC fight in front of the White House

New: UFC President Dana White has sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking him to help reverse the 90 percent limit on gambling loss deductions for US taxpayers that became law last year.

The issue has been a concern for both bettors and the gambling industry itself.
