UFC 256 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. One might argue that the main event produced the fight of the year for 2020 as Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno fought to a majority draw.
Also earning the $50,000 Performance Bonus was Kevin Holland who scored an impressive TKO of Ronaldo Souza as the former Dana White Contender Series participant stopped Jacare while in guard. Also earning a Performance Bonus was Rafael Fiziev with a KO of Renato Moicano.
Payout Perspective:
UFC 256 was a great event top to bottom as there were great finishes and performances by Chase Hooper, Cub Swanson and Charles Oliveira. But the Fight of the Night between Figueiredo and Moreno may have been the best of the year. Expect a rematch sometime in 2021.
