UFC on ESPN 19 bonuses

December 6, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN 19 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The main event pulled out the Fight of the Night.

Marvin Vettori and Jack Hermanson battled it out in a 5 round slugfest which saw the Italian pull out the victory.  Both fighters ended up with $50,000.

The Performance Bonuses went to Gabriel Benitez and Jordan Leavitt.  Benitez used a well-placed knee to deliver to KO blow in the very first round against Justin Jaynes.  Leavitt used an unconventional slam to knock out Matt Wiman in another first round stoppage.  The slam look pretty bad for Wiman as Leavitt landed on top of him with his head bouncing off the mat.

Payout Perspective:

The event went opposite the Spence-Garcia boxing PPV but one might expect a fair share of UFC fans tuning into the event which aired on ESPN2.  The Vettori-Hermanson fight was very good considering it was a replacement fight which was to feature Kevin Holland.
