December 3, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

NXT earned a narrow victory over AEW during an abbreviated week due to Thanksgiving.  Ratings per Nielsen

NXT drew 712,000 viewers and 0.20 in the A18-49 demo.  It drew 0.26 in the M18-49 demo, 0.07 in the A18-34, 0.29 in A25-54 and 0.38 in over 50.

Payout Perspective:

Despite winning the overall viewership, AEW still made the top 10 in cable last Wednesday.  NXT drew an overall viewership rating due to the fact that it has a stronger over 50 viewership than AEW.  But the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a down time for viewership and the slight victory by NXT may be overturned once this week’s ratings come in.
