After one week forging ahead of AEW, NXT took another back seat to AEW in overall ratings. Both shows were affected by continued election coverage.
AEW drew 717,000 viewers compared to NXT’s 610,000. AEW drew a 0.30 household rating with 383,000 in the A18-49 demo. NXT scored a 0.14 household rating. AEW ranked 56th overall on Wednesday night cable while NXT was in the 68th position.
Payout Perspective:
AEW returned to its dominance of NXT on Wednesday night but the ratings for both were lower due to election night coverage. It was the ‘go home’ show for AEW which likely gave it a little bit of advantage over NXT. The week previous, NXT held its big Halloween Havoc show which scored the ratings victory.
