UFC on ESPN +38 took place on Fight Island on Saturday night. The event had two performances of the night and a Fight of the Night.
The Fight of the Night honor went to Guram Kutateladze and Mateusz Gamrot. Kutateladze edged Gamrot in a fight between lightweights on the prelims.
In addition, Jimmy Crute and Jessica Andrade earned Performance Bonuses for their stoppages.
All four fighters earned $50K bonuses.
Payout Perspective:
In the main event, Brian Ortega returned to the Octagon and decisively beat The Korean Zombie. The event may have been overshadowed by the anticipated fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez. With the whole card on the digital platform, some may not have seen this event.
