NXT 824K Wednesday, AEW draws 813K Thursday

August 31, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Last week, NXT and AEW produced solid ratings although not going up against one another on Wednesday night.

NXT on the USA Network drew 824,000 viewers and 24th overall in cable.

It drew 0.24 in P18-49, 0.17 in F18-49, 0.30 in M18-49, 0.12 in P18-34, 0.05 in F12-34, 0.20 in M12-34, 0.28 in A25-54, 0.41 in over 50.

On Thursday, AEW on TNT drew 813,000 viewers.  It was 11th overall in cable ratings up against the last night of the Republican National Convention.

AEW drew 0.29 in the P18-49, 0.19 in F18-49, 0.39 in M18-49, 0.19 in P18-34, 0.14 in F12-34, 0.25M12-34, 0.33 in A25-54, 0.30 in over 50.

Payout Perspective:

The lack of competition between the two brands helped NXT more than AEW as the Wednesday telecast of the WWE program was up overall and in the younger demos with the absence of competition.  AEW on TNT remained steady despite being displaced the last two weeks due to the NBA playoffs.

Dana White is such a MAGA stooge. He runs around every podcast talking about how he’s “not political” and how Donald Trump is “just his friend,” all while asking that same friend to help him write off more gambling losses and throwing him a UFC fight in front of the White House

New: UFC President Dana White has sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking him to help reverse the 90 percent limit on gambling loss deductions for US taxpayers that became law last year.

The issue has been a concern for both bettors and the gambling industry itself.
