AEW on TNT Saturday night drew 755,000 viewers according to Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

The event drew 0.31 in the A18-49 demo, 0.19 in F18-49, 0.44 in M18-49, 0.21 in P18-34, 0.13 F12-34, 0.25M12-34, 0.35 P25-54, 0.25 in the over 50 demo.

AEW aired on Saturday due to the NBA Playoffs airing in its usual Wednesday night spot.

Despite the move, it made the top 5 in cable ratings and while it did not top the young demos it was close with the UFC in demos.

The UFC ended up 4th and AEW mirrored the MMA promotion with similar ratings in the young demos.

Both trailed behind 3 NBA Playoff games.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings have to be a good sign for the brand as it did well up against the UFC as well as the NXT show playing on the WWE Network. There was an approximately 30-minute overrun of the NBA game which may have helped with some but the 755,000 viewers is on par with what it has been receiving on Wednesday nights.  We will see how this week’s Thursday night show does and whether the fans will continue to support AEW.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
