August 25, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN 15 drew 869,000 viewers on Saturday night per Nielsen media research via ShowBuzz Daily.  The ratings were the 4th best overall on Saturday following the NBA Playoff games on ESPN and TNT that day.

UFC on ESPN 15 featured Frankie Edgar facing Pedro Munhoz with Edgar winning his debut at bantamweight.  The telecast drew 0.32 in the A18-49 demo, 0.45 in the M18-49  and 0.24 in the A18-34 demo.  The demos fell behind just the NBA games Saturday.

The prelims for UFC on ESPN 15 took place on ESPN+.

Main Cards on ESPN

UFC on ESPN 8:  1.198M

UFC on ESPN 9:  1.021M

UFC on ESPN 10:  908,000

UFC on ESPN 11:  912,000

UFC on ESPN 12:  1.07M

UFC on ESPN 13:  536,00

UFC on ESPN 14:  908,00

UFC on ESPN 15:  869,000

Payout Perspective:

The ratings are a testament to the strength of the UFC brand and its partnership with ESPN.  Right behind the NBA games on ESPN and TNT, the ratings outdrew PBC on Fox. It also faced stiff competition from the networks with boxing, NBA and NHL.  Still, ESPN did well with its overall ratings and was just behind the NBA in demos.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
