Tyson-Jones, Jr. exhibition moved to November

August 10, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The boxing exhibition between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones, Jr. has been moved to November 28th according to The Athletic.  The 8-round exhibition between the two former champions was originally scheduled for September 12th.

No reason was given about the postponement.

Tyson, 54, and Jones, Jr., 51 are past their primes and despite the fact that this is being labeled as an exhibition, the price tag for this exhibition is $49.99 on PPV.

Payout Perspective:

The postponement comes at somewhat of a surprise as it appears that Canelo will not be fighting on that weekend and there are no other boxing events scheduled that week.  Yet, perhaps the issues related to the pandemic may have drawn organizers to put a hold on the event until later in the year.
