August 2, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN +31 took place Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The Fight of the Night went to a rematch that drew FOTN honors when they first fought.

Bobby Green and Lando Vannato earned FOTN honors at UFC 216 and the two earned another $50K bonus for their fight on Saturday.  Green earned the unanimous decision this time around.  Their first fight ended in a draw.

Jennifer Maia’s upset victory over Joanne Calderwood with a first round armbar earned her a Performance Bonus.  She also jumped over Calderwood to earn a shot at flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.  Vincente Luque earned a second-round KO of Randy Brown in a welterweight matchup.
