UFC on ESPN+ 30 took place on Saturday night at the Flash Forum on Abu Dhabi. The main event saw Deiveson Figueiredo win the vacant UFC flyweight title and cash in on a Performance Bonus.
Figueiredo’s rear naked choke submission of Joseph Benavidez earned him the title and one of the $50,000 Performance Bonuses. The other Performance Bonus went to Ariane Lipski as she scored a painful looking kneebar submission over Luna Carolina.
The Fight of the Night went to Rafael Fiziev and Marc Diakese in an entertaining fight that saw some stiff striking from the two. The unanimous decision went to Fiziev.
