UFC on ESPN 13 bonuses

July 16, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN 13 took place on Wednesday from Fight Island and produced a very good evening of fights.

Bonus winners went out to Mounir Lazzerput for his fight with Abdul Razak Alhassan.  The first fight on the main card was an exciting and due to the fact that Alhassan missed weight he did not receive a $50,000 bonus.  Otherwise, the fight would have likely earned Fight of the Night honors.

Also earning bonuses were Lerone Murphy who stopped Ricardo Ramos in the very first round via TKO to win a bonus.  Khamzat Chimaev earned a victory over John Philips in the second-round with a finish to earn a performance bonus.  Finally, Modestas Bukauskas stopped Andrea Michailidis in the first round to earn the last bonus.

Payout Perspective:

Unfortunate for Abdul Razak Alhassan to lose out on a $50,000 bonus as he missed weight. But, this was a contractual requirement and precluded him from winning the bonus.  Tim Elliott and Ryan Benoit could have earned the FOTN honors as well for their back and forth fight.

This Anthony Smith situation is sad, its another cry for help of someone that's obviously suffering from something. No way you harm your wife and threaten to kill yourself just because.
