Rose-Jessica 2 earns FOTN at UFC 251

July 11, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Rose Namajunas earned a hard-fought victory over Jessica Andrade in their rematch in which Thug Rose lost her strawweight title. This time around Namajunas was victorious.

In addition, Jiri Prochazka and Davey Grant earned Performance Bonuses. Prochazka earned his $50K with a KO over light heavyweight Volkan Oezdemir. Grant earned his with KO in the first bout of the night against Martin Day.

Payout Perspective:

It was the first event from Fight Island which will have a total of 4 events. The semi-main event of Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski was an exciting bout which the champion won via split decision and Amanda Ribas’ first round armbar over Paige Van Zant was also another great performance which could have earned bonus honors.
