Masvidal, Adesanya EA UFC 4 cover athletes?

July 6, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman is the official main event of UFC 251 on Fight Island as “Gamebred” passed his COVID-19 test and readies himself for this short-notice fight for the welterweight title.  Also at UFC 251, expect the reveal of the next UFC video game produced by EA Sports.

EA Sports UFC 4 has produced a beta version and all indications appear that Masvidal and Israel Adesanya will be the cover athletes for the game. UFC 3 had just Conor McGregor as the cover athlete.

Xbox has released photos of what could be the cover.

The UFC promotional posters include the new logo for EA Sports UFC 4 noting “Official Reveal” underneath the logo.

The game will be released on Xbox, PS4 and their latest editions which come out later this year.

Payout Perspective:

It’s a good time for the video game to come back after its last version in February 2018.  The buzz in this game is that Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will be playable characters.  It will be interesting to see if the UFC attempts to monetize the game with tournaments and benefit from the esports business.
