AEW 772K, NXT 746K

June 19, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW drew 772,000 viewers on Wednesday night and NXT drew 746,000 as the two telecasts drew closer to one another once again.

As has been the norm for the two telecasts, AEW won the young demo while NXT controlled the over 50 category.

AEW drew 0.28 in the P18-49, 0.36 in the M18-49, 0.33 in the A25-54 and 0.31 in the over 50 category.

NXT drew 0.20 in the P18-49, 0.24 in the M18-49, 0.24 in the A25-54 and 0.36 in the over 50 category.

Payout Perspective:

It appears that the general consensus with the ratings is that AEW will have the slight edge on the overall ratings and dominate the young demo.  But NXT will garner enough viewers in the above 50 category to draw close to its competition.  It is notable that AEW is drawing a big section of its audience from the male 18-49 demo and the adult 25-54 demo.
